University Archives Audiovisual Collection. Miscellaneous series, 1943-1997 [manuscripts]

The Audio-Visual Collection in general is a diverse collection that offers its users a unique perspective of North Carolina State University. In addition to the unidentifiable items, the following has been included in the Miscellaneous series: "NCSU Visual Aids," and the "Supervisory Training Series." "NCSU Visual Aids" includes footage of scenes and events on the NC State campus. However, it is not known for what purpose this group of film and audio tape was created. The "Supervisory Training Series" was produced in 1943 and as its title indicates these film strips and records were made to offer additional training to workers in various jobs. The "Supervisory Training Series" may have been produced by or for the 4-H Club or the Agricultural Extension. This portion of the broader "Audio-Visual Collection" contains unidentified items, and items for which there is little or no historical information. This lack of information has made it impossible to place these items in any of the existing series in this collection.
